The expansion of offices and warehouse is proceeding steady now.
The extra office layer is a fact and stands proudly on top of our office as you can see on the pictures. The last finishing activities are in full progress now so the first internal move can take place in a couple of weeks. The whole office will be provided with new carpet and furniture. Last but not least the ground floor will get a new floor plan and will be redecorated as well.
On the 5th of November we started building, one of more than 400 piles entered the ground. The expansion of the warehouse is visible more and more. The steel carcass shows the progress of the construction (110m1 clear span) every day and also shows clearly the final sizes of the new warehouse with associated transhipment spaces and package chambers all free to be reached by 8 overhead doors and a dock shelter.
The final capacity of the 55.000 m3 (cubic metres) warehouse will be more than doubled from 330 to 730 containers (20ft.). According to expectations the warehouse will be finished halfway 2008.
With this expansion we will be able to continue to offer our customers the excellent service they are used to.
